Galway farm seeks aid after Storm Eowyn destroyed essential polytunnels, impacting local food supply.

They started a GoFundMe because of this problem. They didn’t want to ask, but the storm damaged their garden badly, so they needed to reach out. They grow food for the local markets around here, and the damage is proving to be a big threat right now.
The farm had hoped the government could help them out with assistance for small farmers and growers. Sadly, the government’s response wasn’t useful. The funding announced was insufficient for their situation.
The tunnels are crucial to their business, needing them in both summer and winter. Now, they only have one tunnel left out of three. They must fix them to keep providing food and ensure people in Galway have what they need!
They need funding to buy supplies to fix everything. New plastic and side rails are needed, costing about €2,500. Also, a new frame is required with foundations, and that repair will be around €7,500.
Fergal and Manu will do all the hard work and welcome any help offered. They will offer tea and veggies to anyone helping and appreciate all the kind support.
