Minehead Swimming receives £6,000 from The Reach Fund to advance public pool planning. Share offer launches in 2025.
The money covers planning and analysis work. They will launch a share offer in 2025. People can invest in the pool project then.
Cath Brown spoke about the benefit of the grant. She said it will help with business plans and publicity. She thanked partners for their support.
MSL is a Community Benefit Society. It’s run like a co-op. The goal is a heated, indoor pool. Shares cost £1 each. Buying shares makes you a member.
Members get to vote. Everyone has an equal say in decisions. MSL wants people to stay informed. The website has updates and reports.
People can join the Facebook group too. The Somerset West Lottery also backs MSL. People can choose them as a cause. Events are planned to discuss the pool.
