Get Baked bakery opens in Manchester! First 1,000 customers on Saturday get a free slice of Bertha cake.

The new store is in the Northern Quarter. It’s taking over a corner spot, and their soft launch starts next Friday at noon. It will stay open until 10 PM.
On Saturday, they’re giving away free cake! The first 1,000 people get a free slice starting at noon. Free slices are one per person, so be ready for a queue!
They are famous for their Bertha cake, which has 24 chocolate layers. It used to be the Bruce cake with 12 layers, but Bertha has a sweeter filling.
The opening was delayed because renovations took longer than expected. The bakery will also be on Deliveroo. Expect pies, brownies, and cookies there.
The owner, Rich Myers, raised the Bertha cake’s price; it now costs £20 a slice, previously £17. Chocolate prices have gone up a lot, and they use special Columbian chocolate.
Get Baked only uses ethical farmers, and all business costs increased. The new price reflects these changes.
You can find them at 1 Stevenson Square in Manchester. The opening is March 15th. Go for free cake!
