Police went to Blue Bell Hill on February 10. A crash with multiple vehicles happened there. The A229 incident occurred between Medway and Maidstone. Someone reported it around 7:30 AM. It happened on the road going towards Maidstone.

The collision involved four vehicles. It was between M2 Junction 3, near Chatham, and M20 Junction 6, for Maidstone. They closed lanes because of the emergency.

Services went to the crash location quickly. There’s heavy traffic and big delays on Blue Bell Hill because of the accident. Inrix said the A229 Southbound is partially blocked. Three vehicles were involved before Lower Warren Road.

Traffic goes back to Walderslade Woods and across the M2 at Chatham. It also stretches 30 minutes back along the M2 to London.

Kent Highways said it’s a “high severity” incident. They told drivers to be careful. Kent Police said they learned of it at 7:30 AM. Four vehicles crashed on the Maidstone road.

Officers are there now handling things. No serious injuries were reported by officers. Lanes are closed right now due to this event. As they wrote this article, lane closures stayed in place. Delays also remained on the A229 Blue Bell Hill.
