Five individuals will stand trial, accused of assisting teens after the murders of Max Dixon and Mason Rist.

The five appeared in Bristol Crown Court, and their trial cannot start until November. Three pleaded ‘not guilty’, and the judge combined their cases with two others.
Ellie Maddocks and Dominic Smith, both 25, are among them. They pleaded ‘not guilty’ to assisting an offender.
The couple allegedly helped Kodi Wescott and a 16-year-old by allowing them to stay at their home. The couple then drove them to Weston-super-Mare. This occurred between January 27 and 30.
Marcus Williams, 31, also pleaded ‘not guilty’. He is accused of helping Riley Tolliver, 18. Williams allegedly drove Tolliver to Weston-super-Mare before January 29.
The charge accuses them of impeding arrest because they knew the person committed murder. They lacked lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
Jillian Tolliver, 50, and Kristian Hooper, 47, also face charges and previously pleaded ‘not guilty’. Their cases are now combined with the others, and they are also accused of assisting the teens.
All five will face a trial that could last four weeks and will start on November 17.
Five people were convicted of murdering Max and Mason. The friends were stabbed on January 27 outside Mason’s home.
Antony Snook, Riley Tolliver, and Kodi Wescott were jailed. Two unnamed teens also received life sentences with minimum terms ranging from 15 to 38 years.
Two other men were jailed for assisting an offender. Jamie Ogbourne, 27, and Bailey Wescott, 23, pleaded guilty and received sentences of over five years.
