Okay, so something happened near Glasgow, causing a road closure. The incident took place in Kirkintilloch on Donaldson Street, close to Muirhead Street. People called emergency services around 5 PM Thursday.

Five people are now facing charges following a disturbance. Two men, ages 34 and 54, needed treatment for injuries. Police arrested both of them at the scene.

Police confirmed that five men were arrested, ages 59, 57, 54, 48, and 34. They went to Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, and people shared images from the location.

The images showed many police cars, and officers helped people in the road. Detectives want more information and are asking witnesses to reach out.

Detective Sergeant Gary Boyle is asking for your help. Were you in the area? Did you see anything occur? He asks residents to check their doorbell cameras, and motorists should review dashcam footage, too.

Maybe you recorded something important. If so, contact Police Scotland at 101 and reference case number 2609 from February 27, 2025. This will help the investigation.
