Police in Flint impounded 15 vehicles after warnings regarding abandoned & unsafe cars were unheeded.

Police did this big operation because of those fears. The cars seemed abandoned and blocked the road. This happened in the Castle Park industrial estate area. Drug users were even found in some of the cars.
The location is near Flint Castle and some woods. Locals thought the cluttered road looked terrible. Police used a specialist to get the cars removed.
This took place on Saturday, February 22nd. The police team had been trying to fix this for a while. They said they tried different solutions with other groups. But, it didn’t really work out like they wanted. So, they seized those fifteen cars.
The cars were unsafe and could have been torched. Young people were using drugs inside them too. That gave the police more power to act.
You can park legally if your car has tax paid. But police can be told when a vehicle obstructs or parks bad. You can call 101. Tell the DVLA if a car is untaxed and on SORN. Also, report it if they know the owner.
Flintshire people tell the council about abandoned vehicles. The police must try hard to find car owners. If plates are gone, they stick notices on the windshield. Cars get towed after the notice expires. Cars insecure or dangerous can be taken right away too.
Police added you can tell the council or DVLA. The DVLA can grab untaxed cars fast.
