A mass brawl broke out on a ferry after a woman was found dead. One man arrested, and police are investigating.
The incident happened Tuesday, February 25. It occurred on a Stena Line ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. Police arrived around 5 PM after being called and boarded the ship at Rosslare Harbour.
The woman’s body stayed there for examination. Police investigated, and armed officers were present. A man was arrested and is in custody while police investigate all the circumstances.
A witness said police presence was huge and the port was locked down for a time. Ambulances joined police, creating a secure area. The captain called for help before docking, about 30 minutes before arrival.
