Repair work will start next week on the damaged Ferensway junction in Hull, aiming to improve road safety and address wear.

Roads will close from 8 PM to 6 AM. You can still turn onto Anlaby Road from Ferensway, heading north. All other turns are blocked then. The junction reopens during the day.
Weather and many vehicles damaged the road. It’s a busy place in town, and local people said it needed fixing too. The council hired EC Surfacing for the job.
A council member spoke about the project and said they chose the company carefully. Officials hope it makes the road much better. The council knows this might cause issues, but fixing the road will improve safety a lot.
The council thanked people for their patience. They understand the delays are frustrating, but they must do the job for everyone’s safety. The updates will ensure roads stay usable.
