Daniel Andreas San Diego, wanted for 2003 bombings in California, was caught in Wales and is fighting extradition to the US.

San Diego was a “most wanted fugitive” after bombings in California in 2003. Officers detained him in Conwy on November 25 with the help of several police groups.
He is 47 years old and wore a grey prison t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms. He confirmed his details in court and is fighting extradition to the US, having had preliminary hearings earlier.
A full extradition hearing is set to last five days, starting on September 8. The FBI said San Diego has ties to an extremist group that supports animal rights.
The FBI offered $250,000 for information leading to his arrest. Two bombs exploded in Emeryville on August 28, 2003, one hour apart, targeting a biotech company.
On September 26, 2003, another bomb exploded in Pleasanton, containing nails and targeting a nutritional product company. San Diego was indicted in July of 2004 in California’s Northern District court for his alleged involvement.
