Hey, guess what I just read? A bad crash happened on the M4. This was back on Monday, February 17th.

Sadly, an 83-year-old man died because of it. The crash happened near Port Talbot, causing traffic to back up significantly.

The police were called to the scene of a Ford Fiesta crash that occurred westbound between junctions 37 and 38 around 11:31 in the morning.

The police are grateful for the help already given at the scene. Now, they are asking witnesses to step forward and share any information they might have, including dash-cam footage.

PC Ross McGrath is particularly interested in hearing from anyone who witnessed the crash. He’s also keen to learn about how people were driving in the moments leading up to the incident.

There was another crash that day. Two cars collided at junction 35, closing the eastbound side of the motorway. They diverted drivers to the exit and entry ramps, warning of potential traffic delays.
