A year after Jack O’Sullivan vanished in Bristol, his family still seeks answers amid ongoing searches.

Catherine searches every day, feeling stuck in time as each day brings more pain. Jack tried to get a taxi home, and CCTV saw him near his home area, yet, he never arrived in Flax Bourton.
Jack enjoyed being back home where he studied history and was excited to start a law job. Catherine texted him about a ride at 1:52 AM, to which Jack replied that he would take a taxi.
Police saw Jack on CCTV walking near Bristol Harbour. They thought he fell into the water, but Catherine is sure Jack did not fall in, pointing to the fact that police found nothing of his.
Catherine and detectives searched and found new CCTV footage showing Jack walking away from the water after the police’s last sighting. At that time, cars and people were out.
Catherine believes someone knows something and thinks Jack got into a car, even though his text said he was getting a taxi. She believes they will find him someday, so she won’t give up hope.
Police called about a body found on a beach in Wales, which upset Catherine, especially when the description somewhat matched Jack. However, DNA tests showed it wasn’t him.
Police ask people to recall that night, hoping that people will think again as something small might now be important. They used many teams in their search and seek any helpful details.
Catherine thinks police focused too much on the water theory and believes dashcam footage could have helped, but police notified drivers too late, and the footage had already been overwritten.
Missing People charity supports the family, offering help and hope. Catherine suspects Jack might have been hurt or could have been disoriented after a fall. A reward is offered for tips.
