A 22-year-old man died in a car crash near Toft Hill. His family released a touching statement.

Paul Joe Robinson, everyone called him Joe, passed away. The crash occurred on February 19, a Wednesday.
Joe was only 22 years old. His family is devastated by his loss. The family stated Joe was a loving person. He was a son, brother, uncle, and boyfriend.
Friends and family miss him, especially his parents. He was a unique person and his family will never forget him. The crash occurred near Toft Hill on the B6282 when his car hit another car.
Joe drove a black Peugeot 207. The other car was a white Kia Ceed. The accident took place around 11:15 am. Police closed the B6282 for investigation. The closure was between Nettlebed Lane and the A68 and lasted for several hours.
Durham Constabulary investigators still need help. They want to talk to more witnesses and seek dashcam or CCTV footage. This footage would show the vehicles before the crash.
