Family runs half marathon in Liverpool. They honor Elsie Stancombe’s memory and raise money for her charity.

Elsie was seven. She died in Southport last year. Elsie, Bebe King, and Alice Aguiar were killed in the stabbings that happened at a Taylor Swift-themed workshop.
Eight other children got hurt. A teacher and businessman were also injured. Axel Rudakubana was sentenced for the crime. It was a terrible tragedy.
Elsie’s parents spoke to a newspaper and shared memories of their daughter. Her mom called Elsie her best friend, commenting that Elsie was truly special.
Elsie found joy in simple moments. Her dad said she loved life and woke up early on weekends. She greeted her parents with enthusiasm.
Her parents created Elsie’s Story, a charity in her name. The charity will help their community. The family will run the half marathon on March 23.
Elsie’s cousin posted on GoFundMe, saying Elsie was the light of their lives. Elsie’s story will touch many lives, just like Elsie did.
The family wants to spread love and positivity in the community. Elsie fundraised a year before she died. Donations of any size are appreciated, and sharing the post helps too.
