An 18-year-old from East Yorkshire, Sophie Goode, died after an e-bike crash at Nottingham University. Tributes pour in.

Sophie studied Sport and Exercise Science. The accident occurred at Nottingham University early Tuesday morning. She suffered serious injuries. Medics tried their best, but she passed away.
Sophie’s family released a statement, calling her happy, beautiful, and talented. They said everyone loved her and that she enjoyed singing, dancing, and concerts. She was also very close to her sister.
The family also mentioned her personality, noting she loved life and people. Sophie made friends at university and joined the women’s cricket team. She was determined and achieved her goals. Sadly, she died too young.
North Cave Coal Exporters Cricket Club also shared condolences. Sophie played there since 2021, and the club posted about her. Sophie was a valued member, they said. She was a talented bowler and even won an award last year.
