Two people went to the hospital. Their family dog had attacked them in their home. Kids were playing hide and seek when it happened. The dog attack occurred in Woodchurch, Merseyside at a house on Sunflower Close, on Saturday.

Police arrived before midnight on Saturday. They found the dog attacking a woman inside, after it had already hurt a man badly. Three children were also present. The police secured the children’s safety by placing the kids in another room.

The dog got angry during a game of hide and seek. Officers contained the dangerous dog and removed it from the house quickly, the owner surrendered it afterwards. The authorities plan to destroy the dog. They are working to identify the dog’s breed and the two victims are getting medical care, as their injuries are not life-threatening.

Neighbors noticed many police cars late at night. One neighbor heard a scream outside. They thought it was a fox at first, but then they heard a dog screaming. Another local saw a big scene, witnessing the injured couple leaving and the dog being taken away.

Police stated the children played hide and seek when the dog started growling at them suddenly. The man tried to remove the dog safely, but then the dog attacked him. When the woman tried to stop it, it attacked her too.
