Swansea drivers, the Fabian Way roadworks are almost done. Repairs started January 27 on Fabian Way. Neath Port Talbot Council is fixing drainage near Elba Crescent. The work was supposed to take two weeks.

Work continues on the A483 westbound. The area is between Elba Crescent and Swansea University. Only one lane is open heading west. The council’s team works 8 AM to 4 PM.

On February 12th, a driver faced gridlock. They avoided Fabian Way to reach the Swansea City game. Drivers said delays lasted over an hour the first day. Traffic into Swansea was bad again January 28.

One driver urged others to avoid the “gridlocked” Fabian Way. Amazon is nearby. The council said work should end Friday, February 14. Workers will remove all traffic control measures. The council appreciates everyone’s patience during the repairs.

They found more damage to the culvert during digging. This made the job take an extra week. They fixed all issues with the culvert. The council apologizes for the trouble.
