Hey, guess what happened with that music fest in Exeter? They pulled the application.

So, this tribute festival, Mirror Image, was selling tickets. They planned a show at Heavitree Pleasure Ground in May. Dates were May 2nd to 4th. Tickets cost around £22 for adults and £11 for kids. They advertised on Facebook and their website.

Exeter City Council only got the application in January. The council owns the park. They posted the info online and people had until Feb 4th to comment.

The applicant was Live in the South Ltd. David Rowland Junior is the director. He’s from a famous funfair family.

The council said the application is now withdrawn. The event disappeared from their website and Facebook.

The festival folks posted about cancellations on Facebook. This was on February 3rd. Exeter and Cornwall shows got axed. Refunds are supposedly happening.

The Exeter show had tribute acts, including Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift impersonators. They wanted to sell booze from noon until 10:30. They also sought to host up to three events each year, lasting up to three days at the park.
