Garion Humphries stalked his ex after prison release, violating a restraining order. He received nine more months.

He harassed her with messages right after he left prison. He had already been jailed for stalking her before. The prior relationship ended in February 2020.
He was released in July 2023. Prosecutors said he repeatedly contacted her after that. A restraining order was in place at that time. She said he was “hounding” her.
She felt bad for him at first, then he turned verbally abusive and called her awful names. She felt weak and worthless. He told police his ex might have sent the messages.
He has a long criminal record, including stalking and violating orders. His lawyer had “very little mitigation” and claimed she contacted Humphries on social media. The judge gave him nine more months.
The judge said court orders must be followed and that there was “no real mitigation”. Humphries lives in Rochdale on Gladstone Crescent.
He walked free because of time served, but was jailed for nine months. He also got a ten-year restraining order and the judge warned against disobeying court orders.
