Walker suffers a broken leg in Eryri. Coastguard winches him to safety. Rescue occurred on Saturday.

The Ogwen Valley team responded to the injury. The man slipped above Twll Du and severely broke his femur bone. Medics gave him strong pain relief and straightened his leg using a device.
Rescuers put him in bags and a stretcher before moving him to a safe spot. The Coastguard helicopter then winched him up. It lifted him from Caernarfon.
The Coastguard flew through thick clouds and took the injured man to Ysbyty Gwynedd for treatment.
The team responded to three incidents last weekend. One was a joint call-out before Twll Du, around 11 am on Saturday. They also helped a missing local person and aided walkers stuck on Tryfan.
The community found the missing person. A team helped the three walkers, one of whom had a panic attack. Rescuers gave them warm clothes and drinks, and used ropes to help them down.
On Sunday night, they went to Glyder Fach after two walkers fell while descending the mountain. Conditions were very cloudy that night. The Coastguard helicopter assisted again, transporting the team to and from the mountain.
