Elderly woman seriously injured after a three-vehicle crash in Great Shelford, near Cambridge. Investigation underway.

Three vehicles got tangled up in the crash: a turquoise Hyundai, a brown Honda, and a parked van. Surprisingly, the Hyundai ended up on its side after impact, and an elderly woman was driving.
The driver, in her eighties, was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by paramedics. While she sustained serious injuries in the wreck, thankfully, they are not life-threatening. The Honda driver walked away unharmed.
Firefighters from Sawston and Gamlingay arrived to free someone trapped inside a vehicle. They then handed this person to ambulance staff. It sounds like a chaotic scene.
