The 4×4 sped down the street and jumped the curb near a street corner. Then, the driver went into oncoming traffic, forcing a van to stop fast to avoid a crash. The 4×4 then swerved back to the correct side of the road.

The driver continued recklessly, driving on another pavement and passing a car dangerously. Luckily, nobody got hurt during all this. Police are investigating the incident and confirmed no injuries occurred.

A 76-year-old man was charged with traffic violations following reports of risky driving. Police Scotland made a statement about the incident, which occurred around 3:10 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

People shared videos online of the event. Officers want the public to send them any footage they may have. The 76-year-old man was found quickly after, and police are urging witnesses with dashcam footage to contact them.
