The plan requires some building changes. They will brick up two windows, and a fire exit will be added. Solar panels will go on the eastern roof. Two bike storage spots are planned, while car parking will shrink by one, leaving six spaces total.
Bedroom sizes vary a lot. The biggest room measures about 23.5 square meters, twice as big as the smallest room, which is only about 10 square meters.
Edwardian Holdings Ltd wants to build this, with support from Ross Davy Associates. They say it fits the area well, as the neighborhood already has HMOs and flats.
They also think this helps the area because using empty buildings is a good thing. A similar project was approved last fall, that plan will create a ten-bed HMO reusing empty office space on Chantry Lane.
