Neil Jones attacked his girlfriend while she recovered in the hospital after giving birth. He stalked her using a fake Facebook profile and assaulted her repeatedly during her pregnancy. He punched her near their newborn son. Jones received a 30-month jail sentence, along with a 10-year restraining order.
Nathaniel Lockie abused a woman for months, resulting in an eight-year jail sentence. He was found guilty of sexual assault and stalking, threatening her relentlessly. Lockie called her up to 200 times daily, and the abuse caused her nightmares and flashbacks.
Darren Hesketh abused his partner for years, leading to a three-year and six-month jail sentence. He told her to kill herself and ultimately pleaded guilty to his crimes.
John McCabe strangled his ex-girlfriend, who was only 17 when they began dating. He subjected her to violence, controlling behavior, and threats of suicide, even burning her with a cigarette. He made her hide a black eye with makeup. McCabe received a two-year and three-month sentence.
Jason Paul terrorized his girlfriend, holding her hostage until she agreed to reconcile. He threatened to share naked pictures, resulting in a 40-month prison sentence. A restraining order prevents him from contacting her
Roy Croft abused his partner during their year-long relationship, assaulting her on vacation and at home. He also damaged her property. Croft received a 30-month prison sentence and a restraining order.
Liam Cain murdered his girlfriend, Courtney Boorne, by strangulation. A jury found him guilty after she screamed for help before she died. Cain received a life sentence and must serve at least 17 years.
Alex Thompson severely injured his girlfriend by punching and kicking her, causing internal bleeding. He had attacked other partners before. Thompson received an 11-year extended sentence and must serve seven years in prison.
