Plan to convert Scarborough Street property into eight-bed HMO after accounting firm relocates to new location.
Someone wants to change a building on Scarborough Street. The plan is to make it living spaces. Right now, an accounting firm uses the property; they will move to a new location soon.
Mr. Anthony Sewell submitted the application. The building would have eight single-person units, each for HMO use. The front of the building would get an upgrade to fit better with the street and preserve the conservation area’s look.
The application explains that the area would gain benefits, mentioning visual improvements to the street. The statement says appearance and function would improve for the property and the surrounding area.
The building needs some repairs right now. The changes should make it fit the area better and stop it from becoming vacant once the existing business leaves.
