Paranormal investigators report disembodied voices and unsettling experiences at the Old Prison in Northleach during a court reenactment.
Tony Ferguson, 40, explores paranormal things. He previously went to the Ancient Ram Inn and also spent time at Shepton Mallet prison. Tony then visited the Old Prison in Northleach with the Haunting Nights company.
They accessed the Police House at night and say they found supernatural activity. Tony said they caught odd things on camera during the evening in the prison. In the court, they did a trial reenactment to encourage a paranormal reaction.
During this reenactment, a woman from the public played the judge. Tony reports that everyone heard voices. Some could not understand the voices, but some people heard the words “get out”.
The woman playing the judge felt affected and could not move easily. She felt pushed and needed help leaving, feeling very uncomfortable there. The team removed the woman and calmed her down to help her feel normal. They did not show all of the footage they took.
They captured evidence with the public, too, and many people reportedly heard disembodied voices. Haunting Nights gave them Police House access to see what they found there and they had odd encounters with the public.
Tony’s friends were locked in the Police House. They caught a male voice several times while locked inside, which spoke to them. They caught it on camera in real time, which validated experiences with the public.
The prison event was new to everyone there, and they captured amazing evidence overall. It is great for those loving history, as well as paranormal fans. The Old Prison recently opened for paranormal events, and people say they feel paranormal activity there.
Tony wanted to document paranormal activity, and the prison made it even more interesting to him. He believes fewer investigations result in more activity. Many people felt uneasy that night in the prison and courtroom.
The location feels strange when you walk around alone, as if someone watches you. Tony wants to investigate more to gather data. He hopes the location’s spirits interact more and likes revisiting to build trust.
They want to return later with a smaller team. They want to set up CCTV cameras too, to see what happens in darkness. Their goal is to catch odd or unexplainable things.
