People want more cops to patrol The Meadows. Quad bikes damaged the area. Masked people rode the quad bikes. This happened on Thursday morning. Images showed the damage online. Politicians demand more action now.

Police are looking into the incident. Ian Murray spoke about the damage. The bikes damaged the grass severely. He mentioned other issues too, including reckless scooters and vandalism. A woman was attacked last week.

Residents feel very worried right now. Murray spoke to the police about it. Police say they are taking action. Murray wants more police there and added safety measures as well. Confiscating bikes stopped it before.

Marie-Clair Munro talked to a police chief about quad bikes harming parks. The chief said they will stop it and plan to catch the people involved. A local saw it while walking kids as masked riders damaged the grass then.

Motorbikes and ATVs were involved also. Riders drove at people there, and this has occurred four times already. Someone could get hurt seriously. The local’s wife saw it happen again around 7:30 and 8:35 AM.

Police got a report at 6:55 AM Thursday that off-road vehicles damaged The Meadows. They ask for tips about this event. Call 101 and mention reference 0532. This happened on February 20, 2025.
