A driver in Edinburgh says they almost crashed. This happened right before a four-car accident.

The driver wants to stay anonymous. They remember nearly being in the crash, which occurred on Queensferry Road. Their car avoided a collision, but a car behind them and another car were hit instead. This was around 7:15 PM on Friday, March 7.

The driver said they barely missed the other car. They think it then hit a car behind, and also that another car pulling out got hit.

Photos show a car flipped on its roof. This was about an hour after the accident and emergency services were on the scene helping.

Ambulances, firefighters, and police responded to the multiple-vehicle crash.

Police say a man, age 43, went to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The police are still investigating what happened.

Police Scotland said they got a call about the crash on Queensferry Road at 7:15 PM, involving four vehicles. The 43-year-old man went to the Royal Infirmary, received treatment there, and the police are still looking into the incident.
