Police responded to an incident in East Kilbride. It happened Saturday afternoon when people reported a gang wearing balaclavas allegedly carried axes on a street.

Around 1:15 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, police got a call about a man with a blade getting into a car on Teal Crescent. The car then crashed into another vehicle.

A witness described a car chase involving three cars. It ended in a dead end street where men in balaclavas with axes chased one car and reportedly hit its back windows.

The witness, walking their dog nearby, said the driver reached a dead end and then drove onto a path, knocking down a fence and driving over gardens.

The witness added that men left their car, wore balaclavas, and carried axes. They chased the person in the other car.

Police Scotland stated that the driver fled the scene after hitting a car on Teal Crescent. Others in the car also left, and police are now trying to find them.

Police also said that the incident happened around 1:15 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, involving a man with a blade-like item entering a car on Teal Crescent in East Kilbride. His car then crashed, hitting another car on the same street. He and others in his vehicle then left.

Police keep investigating and want to find them all and understand what happened. Thankfully, no one suffered injuries during this event.
