Police seized suspected Class A drugs worth £40k in East Belfast, leading to the arrest of two men and one woman.

This incident occurred on Friday, February 28th, in the Short Strand area. Officers seized what they believe to be Class A drugs.
Police arrested three people for drug-related offenses: a woman in her 70s, a man in his 50s, and another man in his 40s. They are currently out on bail while police continue their investigation.
The property was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, resulting in the discovery of Class A drugs with an estimated value of forty thousand pounds. The drugs are now undergoing further examination.
Detective Inspector Corrigan stated that police are committed to combating drug crime. He emphasized that they listen to community concerns and act upon information received from the public.
