A couple and their dogs died in a Coventry house fire caused by a faulty e-bike battery.

The fire happened on November 8, 2024, in Coventry. A firefighter described it as the worst he had seen, and it occurred at Natasha and Karlo’s home. The e-bike battery sparked the blaze.
The fire trapped Natasha, 27, and Karlo, 24. They could not escape their apartment, and both were pronounced dead at the scene along with their beloved dogs who also perished.
Natasha’s sister, Ehsia, shared a tribute, saying the world lost a precious person and she would never be the same. She also warned against buying unsafe e-bikes.
