Dungannon Murder Investigation Second Arrest Made After Man Death
The police arrested a 30-year-old man suspected of murder, and he is currently in police custody. This follows an earlier arrest on March 1, where that person remains in custody as well.
The police are seeking the public’s help and are requesting any information about the death; they ask that people call 101 and use reference number 1576, related to the incident that happened February 27, 2025. A man died after an assault inside a flat in the Corrainey Park area, prompting the police to start a murder inquiry following a call around 8 PM.
The man, in his 70s, was found badly hurt on his living room floor and sadly died soon after despite the rapid arrival of emergency services.
To facilitate information sharing, police have offered ways for people to upload photos and videos through the Major Incident Public Portal online, and reports can also be made on the PSNI website. Crimestoppers also takes anonymous tips at 0800 555 111.
