A Dublin mother criticizes the apartment management over unsafe car park conditions and courtyard parking rules.

Sarah prefers parking in the courtyard to avoid the tricky steps. Now, the company clamps cars in the courtyard as the management company wants to prevent parking there. Sarah won’t use the car park until they fix it.
The management company needs the courtyard clear for deliveries and emergency vehicles, and for resident safety. They told Sarah to use the ramp, not the steps.
Sarah explained her concerns to Dublin Live, noting she has three autistic children with safety issues. One child cannot speak and doesn’t understand danger. She worries about the ramp’s safety because cars use that ramp and there isn’t a walkway.
Dublin Live saw the car park steps, observing water, damage, and uneven spots. Sarah also dislikes a rule about kids playing, as signs say children can’t play in the courtyard, with no ball games, bikes, or scooters allowed.
A park is across the street, but Sarah can’t leave her children alone there because one child lacks danger awareness. She said it feels like keeping “caged animals.” Dublin Live asked the company for their side of the story.
