Investigation underway after a child’s severe hand injury and the discovery of a partial hand in Dublin.

Apparently, a boy is in the hospital right now. He hurt his hand really bad in an accident involving a gas canister. This happened in the same area.
Sources told the Irish Mirror more details. The remains from Friday were also part of a hand. Police think it’s likely the boy’s hand. CCTV footage showed something surprising: a bird dropped the hand from its beak at the school in Darndale.
People found it around midday on Friday. The police closed the area and are investigating. A twelve-year-old boy is getting treatment at Mater Hospital. The incident occurred at a bonfire site where a gas canister exploded. He lost his hand in the explosion, and doctors are helping him.
Police confirmed they are looking into the hand’s discovery. They said in a statement about what happened that they learned about remains in Darndale, Dublin 17, on Friday, February 21.
The area is now a crime scene, and the State Pathologist knows about it; this is standard procedure. They will examine the remains, and DNA analysis will help identify it and figure out what happened. The investigation continues.
