Dubby the hare is Dublin Airports new mascot after winning a public vote. He will greet travelers.

The airport held a contest to name him. People voted between Dubby, Collin, and Harry. These names came from social media suggestions, with over 10,000 votes coming in for the mascot.
Dubby won with 49% of the votes, while Harry got 36% and Collin received 15%. Dubby spoke at his airport unveiling on Tuesday. Kenny Jacobs, daa CEO, welcomed Dubby.
Dubby said the welcome has been great. He saw people wondering who he was at the terminal, and one man even thought he was a rabbit. Dubby ultimately wants to have fun with travelers.
Kenny Jacobs commented on Dubby’s name, saying Dubby is a great addition. Jacobs noted Dubby’s large ears and said Dubby is settling in well, giving his best effort.
Jacobs mentioned passenger support for Dubby. He wants Dubby to focus on the basics, including high-fives and selfies, and Dubby should also visit local schools.
