Aircoach axes routes to Bray and Greystones. Route 700 also faces changes. Passengers will see impacted stops.

Aircoach reviewed route performance. The Bray and Greystones 702 route had few passengers, and numbers kept dropping recently. So, they decided to remove it.
These changes start this Sunday, March 2. Route 700 will go between Dublin Airport and Leopardstown. It won’t stop at Galloping Green anymore. Foxrock, Cabinteely, Cornelscourt, and Cherrywood are also cut.
Route 701 becomes the 700X; it is a shuttle between the city center and airport. Route 702 will serve Ballsbridge and St Vincent’s Hospital.
Route 702 now runs from Dublin Airport to Dalkey. It stops at the 3Arena and Ballsbridge, as well as St Vincent’s Hospital and Booterstown. Monkstown, Dún Laoghaire, and Dalkey are all included. It uses the Port Tunnel now, while Loughlinstown, Shankill, Bray, and Greystones are out.
Aircoach wants to improve service and punctuality. They expanded last year, from 152 to 217 services, but passenger growth did not meet expectations then.
The Bray/Greystones 702 route is not profitable due to very low passenger numbers. Traffic also made journeys slower, and people chose DART or trains instead.
Aircoach knows this is disappointing news to some. They believe these changes will help the company and want to ensure the future of its services. People with bookings for affected stops will get refunds.
Also, Airport Hopper stopped running this month. It connected Tallaght and Clondalkin to the airport, and also served Maynooth, Leixlip, Lucan, and Liffey Valley.
