Jayakumar Sessayyan drove poorly. He swerved a lot and stopped at a gas station. He bought more alcohol there.

A witness saw him and followed his car. Police caught him later. His breath test was very high.

The court banned Sessayyan from driving. He got a suspended jail term. This happened at North Staffordshire Justice Centre; the crime occurred October 23rd at 11:30 PM.

The report stated he had no lights and drove on the wrong side of the road sometimes. Other drivers flashed their lights at him, signaling he had no lights on.

The witness watched him at Texaco. The witness saw two people inside the car, and the driver bought more beer. Then the car drove away again.

Police found him on Port Vale Street. His car was parked behind a gate and he seemed drunk to the officers. He failed the breath test there, which measured 125 micrograms; the legal limit is only 35.

Sessayyan admitted guilt to the charges, which included drunk driving. He also admitted driving without insurance.

His lawyer said he felt bad and that alcohol had impacted his judgment. The lawyer thinks he can improve.

The court gave him unpaid work; he must do 100 hours of it. They suspended his jail sentence.

The ban could be shorter if he finishes a driver course. He also must pay £85 in costs and a £154 surcharge.
