A driver went to jail after a deadly crash. The crash killed graphic designer Harrison Harvey. Gazment Doci appeared in court on Tuesday. The crash happened on the A179 in Hartlepool. Harrison, who was 25, died in the crash after he collided with Doci’s BMW on Sunday.

Doci, 27, admitted to several offenses, including driving without insurance and a valid license. He also entered the UK illegally. Doci, from Sunderland, got 10 months in jail and received a 12-month driving ban. The court also fined him £120, and he must pay a £187 victim surcharge.

The A179 was closed after the crash. Police and paramedics responded to the scene, and an air ambulance also arrived. Harrison died at the scene. His family shared a tribute, calling him a beloved son, brother, and a great friend.

He was a graphic designer with a bright future who was loved and will be missed. His cousin, Michael Wanley, remembered Harrison fondly, saying Harrison always smiled.

Harrison trained for the Great North Run to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, a charity that was important to him. Wanley started a GoFundMe page to help with Harrison’s funeral costs, and people donated £8,000 in one day.
