Okay, so a car crashed into a house. It happened in Willaston, on Trevithick Place. Actually, the car ended up stuck inside. Emergency crews blocked off part of the area. This happened on a new housing development.

A red Vauxhall Astra is the car inside the house. It smashed through the front door and a window. Police say a black Volvo XC90 hit the Astra. That impact sent the Astra into the house. This occurred shortly after four o’clock Sunday.

The Volvo driver ran away after it happened. Police arrested a 53-year-old man later. They suspect he caused damage to endanger life, drink driving, and failing to stop after the crash.

Additionally, they arrested him for stalking and suspected coercive and controlling conduct. He is still in police custody right now. Police got the call about the crash around 4:08 p.m.

Police officers went to Trevithick Place and found a vehicle rammed into a house. The Volvo hit the Astra, which then crashed into the house. The Volvo driver ran away from the scene. Nobody seems to have gotten hurt.
