A bin bag containing decomposed puppies was found in a Peak District lay-by, prompting an RSPCA and police investigation.

This spot had a similar find before, near Owler Bar and Baslow. The last time was just five months ago. The RSPCA and police are investigating now, working with local rangers too.
The rangers discovered remains last September, finding two dead dogs in bin bags hidden in the undergrowth. Then last month, they found more: three skeletons this time.
The road goes sixty miles per hour, and many use it to reach the Peak District. The inspector, Laura Baker, spoke about it, noting the bodies were badly decomposed, making it hard to know much.
They think the dogs were small breeds and believe they may have been puppies. It seems like maybe this came from a puppy farm. The poor things were dumped like trash.
People who use the road should watch out and look for anything suspicious, please. If you know anything, call the appeal line at 0300 123 8018. They need help finding who did this.
