Liverpool Council to decide on a project containing 400 homes in 16-story towers with rooftop track.

Two tower blocks, 16 stories tall, are planned for Freemasons Row and Gladstone Street, in the Pumpfields area. A rooftop running track is even included in the plans.
Jarron Investments submitted the application to build on a vacant lot. Liverpool Council needs to say yes first, and they hope to add commercial spaces and a gym.
Years ago, they considered this site and approvals happened in 2017 for smaller buildings. However, those plans never actually happened, so the land has been empty for a while.
One plan had 13 and 11 floors and 312 homes, while another suggested 15 and 13 floors with 319 homes. A cafe sits on the site, needing removal for progress.
The complex has different unit sizes, including 177 one-bedroom apartments. Plus, 218 two-bedroom units are also on the list, along with six three-bed flats and townhouses.
The ground floor will have amenities, including a gym and a cinema space for residents. Retail space, offices, and storage are also included, and residents can also run on the roof.
The roof terrace offers a running track, letting residents exercise outside. A steel structure shelters people up there, too, providing a multi-use area.
This project targets rentals, managed by one company, so apartments won’t be for sale individually. Jarron Investments says it helps Pumpfields and encourages renewal there.
A third of nearby land is currently unused, and ten percent functions just for car parking. That area used to have light industrial buildings, like warehouses.
Warehouses and parking surround the site. The plan helps the area overall, and it would improve things socially, economically, and environmentally.
