Cyclist remains hospitalized five months after crash caused by flytipped rubbish in Brentwood. Man arrested, investigation ongoing.

The man is out on bail now. Police are still investigating fully. A council leader talked about the incident, saying fly-tipping gangs were hurting the area.
Councillor Barry Aspinell spoke about it. He said someone got seriously hurt because trash blocked the road. The cyclist was badly injured. He added that fly-tipping is widespread and affects Weald, Warley, Ingatestone, and Shenfield.
He also mentioned Blackmore, Fryerning, and Navestock. Even Hutton is having trouble; he says this shouldn’t happen. Police went to Lincolns Lane on September 18 near Brentwood around 5 p.m.
Police believe waste in the road caused the crash. They want witnesses to contact them. The cyclist rode a green and black Boardman racing bike. The crash occurred on Lincolns Lane, as he journeyed toward South Weald. Police confirmed he still gets hospital care.
