Thames Water addresses ongoing water supply disruptions in Crystal Palace and Sydenham after a pipe burst impacted residents.

Imagine having to get bottled water. Some people are pretty annoyed. Residents had to go to Sainsbury’s to get some. One person called it a “shambles” because they ran out of water.
The bottled water spot even closed briefly due to a “security incident.” People online said folks were fighting over the water bottles. What a mess!
Thames Water said sorry to everyone and fixed the leak early this morning. However, not everyone’s water is back yet. They explained it might look cloudy; tiny bubbles are possible too. It’s just air in the pipes and is still potable.
A water station is currently open at Bell Green Sainsbury’s. Helen Hayes, an MP in the area, has really criticized Thames Water.
Hayes thinks they handled it badly and wrote to their CEO about it. The MP is worried about the big leak at that station. She thinks their help for people is “poor.” Getting water is hard for some, as the station is far for those without cars.
