Families express disappointment as Stourbridge’s Crystal Leisure Centre pool closes due to a technical fault; reopens remain unconfirmed.

Crystal Leisure Centre is in Stourbridge. Families planned visits for half-term, only to learn it was closed. The closure is until further notice.
Dudley Borough Leisure shared this on Facebook after 8 AM on Monday. Some people had already left home.
The post said a technical fault shut the pool, and repairs are underway to fix the problem. The 25m pool is still open for swimming. The other pools are open too, at Duncan Edwards and Halesowen.
Elizabeth just arrived at the center, having checked the website before leaving. There was no notice about the closure. Liam called the closure a joke, saying he checked last night and it looked fine.
Sam said this happens every half-term. Lee commented it’s closed more than open. Jeff sarcastically said the timing was great.
The website also indicated the leisure pool was closed Tuesday, starting at 2:30 PM due to a private booking. It reopened Wednesday, as scheduled. They are sorry for any problems.
