The bad news is police haven’t caught the person who did it. It all went down around 8:40 PM on Saturday on Wellesley Road.
Police and ambulance crews responded quickly. Roads closed while they investigated. A police spokesperson confirmed the details. They arrived to find the injured man.
He went to the hospital for treatment. His condition isn’t considered life-threatening anymore. They have not made any arrests yet. Police are still looking into what happened.
The road closures are now over. Police ask anyone with info to call 101, referring to CAD6505/8Feb. Tipsters may call Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
