A man was shot in Croydon. Police investigate, with Park Street cordoned off.

A man got shot around 7:35 PM yesterday, January 10th. Forensics are looking for evidence. They haven’t caught anyone yet. Park Street is blocked off by police tape.
Several businesses are closed because of this, including Five Guys and the Post Office. Turtle Bay’s manager talked about the area, saying, “Croydon’s rife with violence.”
He noted that stabbings often happen nearby. The manager recalled a past incident where a teenager got his throat slit near Nando’s eight months ago. He finds the recent shooting concerning.
Police responded to a gun report at 7:37 PM on Park Street in Croydon. They found that a man had been shot.
Police and paramedics helped the victim, who was then transported to the hospital. They didn’t arrest anyone at the scene, and the investigation continues now.
