Dogs attacked a man and chickens in Croydon park. Police seized the dogs after the incident; a man has to pay.

The police called it a “shocking incident.” It would scare people nearby, they said. Officers seized dogs after the attack. They used the Dangerous Dogs Act, and the Status Dogs Unit helped.
The court ordered the defendant to pay up. Victims get £13,000 in compensation. They cannot keep dogs for 10 years. They must pay £52,410 for kennel and vet costs. The defendant owes £65,410 total.
