Keith Edun, 47, received 13 years for child abuse. He encouraged rape and shared vile images on social media.

Edun shared child pornography. Also, he told someone to rape a baby. This happened through the Kik app in March 2020. Police also found indecent images of kids. He downloaded and deleted files to hide things.
He was charged back in October 2023. Police arrested him after a search and seized his devices in September 2021. He got 13 years in jail plus an extra eight years after his release because they consider him very dangerous.
The judge said Edun targeted kids often. He seemed very focused on young children and believes he risks hurting them.
Edun got a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must also register as a sex offender. It lasts for his entire life.
Detective Constable Phill Govett investigated and thinks Edun is a danger, stating he poses a risk to children.
Edun tried hard to hide his crimes by deleting the app from his phone and then answered the door for the police.
The investigation was complex and involved careful searches. They examined his phone for evidence. Now, Edun can’t hurt any more children and will stay in jail for a long time.
