Coventry Police’s enhanced operation led to arrests, business reassurance, & traffic enforcement in a successful campaign.

This month was their team’s turn. Officers made several arrests during the day and patrolled retail parks, reassuring businesses with crime prevention tips. Uniformed and plain-clothes officers patrolled many areas.
They patrolled Airport Retail Park, Cannon Park shopping centre and Daimler Green in Radford. Officers also checked the Heathcote Street and Beake Avenue grassland.
The Roads Policing Unit joined the operation, allowing officers to patrol vehicle crime hotspots. They seized an uninsured car and found Class B drugs in a search. Speed checks happened on Donnington Avenue, Radford Road, Waste Lane and Browns Lane.
Detective Inspector Mitcham, who joined the Cannon Park patrol, said it was great working together. He emphasized their focus on tackling local issues and protecting people, and thanked everyone for their engagement.
