A Coventry family is grieving; they lost Tyler Smyth in a tragic accident. They described him as a very nice young man, a pleasure to be around. His family struggles with this loss.

Tyler, 23, died in a car crash that happened yesterday morning on Nuthurst Lane, near Nuneaton. His mom, Leanne, is devastated, as are his stepdad, Sean, and siblings.

Family friend Kelly Williams spoke about Tyler, saying his mom is heartbroken and that it doesn’t seem real. He was happy, caring, and kind, also well-mannered, and would always say hello to everyone.

Kelly felt moved to help the family because the news deeply affected Keresley, the village where Tyler grew up. She started a fundraiser last night which quickly raised over £3,000.

Kelly watched Tyler grow up, her daughter and son grew up with him. She said it’s just sad losing him; he had his entire future ahead of him.

He loved Coventry City FC, and his grandad took him to games as a kid. Tyler, also known as Ty, liked to dance, loved going to raves, and would even dance in the street.

The family has been supported in this difficult time. According to Kelly, it is the village community that has rallied to help, and the fundraiser has been very successful.

Kelly wanted to help Leanne as Tyler was very close to his mother. She wants to ease the financial burden and does not want Leanne to worry about funeral costs.

Tyler will always be loved, especially by his family. The family is grateful for any donations, as these will help with his funeral.
